The Overlook Golf Course has made great golfing available to area residents for 75 years. Over the past nine years, all of its greens have been redone with five redesigned holes and restructured outing programs, with renovations for improvement continually in the works. The Overlook Golf Course prides itself in outstanding maintenance, quality fairways and challenging greens.

Bucher Park is one of Manheim Township’s many parks and was acquired in February of 1972 as part of the Bucher Elementary School grounds. With over eight acres of park facilities, including two softball/baseball fields, one grassed t-ball field, four tennis courts, one playground, and a tot-lot, the park has been built to nurture recreational tastes of all ages. The park also has a natural spring that runs through it and adds to the park’s scenic beauty.

All residents are welcome to join the annual celebration of Community Day, which is held in September on the Saturday just after Labor Day. This event was first held in 1990 and includes a parade, golf tournament, craft show, and exhibits from community organizations, and usually a community choir (in which Kurt sings).
